Word of today: Cerebral

Cerebral means ‘of or appealing to, or conceived by the intellect rather than the emotional.’

While Jamie relies strictly on her intuition, Derek takes a more cerebral approach to solving problems.

A movie that really makes a person think rather than excites can be said to be cerebral. ‘Robocop’ isn’t cerebral, but ‘Room With a View’ probably is—in my humble opinion.
